I get it. You probably don’t think you need another book on the Christian life. If you’re like me, you’ve read plenty of them. Your bookshelves are full of them.
But here’s the thing: Crucified to Life is unlike any book I’ve read on the Christian life.
Here’s why.
There’s a trend in Christian writing. We either focus on grace and only grace. Or we focus on discipleship (which ends up really being a focus on morality and ethics).
I don’t see those things as separate things, but intricately connected and vital for one another.
And that’s how I wrote Crucified to Life. If you’ve ever been frustrated with the calls to just live right and do better or on the opposite end, we’re incapable of living right, we’re just sinners and that’s the end of the story, then you’ll love this book because it gives you the whole story.
Abundant life is available to all of us because Jesus came to give it to us. We just need to grab ahold of it.
I’ll show you how and what that life looks like in Crucified to Life. We’ll look at Scripture together, I’ll tell you some interesting stories, and together we’ll grow in Christ.
I hope you’ll grab a copy for yourself and someone else.
Challenging. Relevant. Deep.
These were the words Kraig Birchfield used in his review of the book on Amazon. Here’s what he said:
Challenging. Relevant. Deep. Just some of the words I can write in regards to this book. Brandon is an outstanding author with a great understanding of the challenges of the Christian life. Give his words a chance to open the freeing and vibrant life that only following Jesus can provide.
There are challenges we come face to face with every day in terms of choosing to follow Christ.
Crucified to Life will help you fight past those challenges and live into the life God is calling you to.
“If you struggle with your old self, your sinful desires, and want to live a life that follows Christ, this book will help you on your way.”
This is what Kyle Newcomb said in his review of the book on Amazon. Here’s more of what he said:
If you’ve struggled to understand what it means when the Bible talks about things like how death leads to life, or how giving it away leads to gaining it all, this is a good resource to pick up. Picking up our crosses, denying ourselves? Doesn’t sound fun or fulfilling at all. That’s the paradox of life in Christ. When we allow our selfish life to be crucified with Christ, the life we get back in return is the most abundant life possible, beyond our wildest dreams or imaginations.
Crucified to Life will help you live the abundant life – the life that is beyond your wildest dreams or imaginations.
Not just what to do, but whose you are…
Do you need another book on the Christian life? I don’t really know. But I do know that this book will challenge you. It will push you. It will encourage you. It will give you an “aha” moment (or maybe two).
